Who Are You?
You’ll be the face and voice of Deel for our clients, both internally and externally. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for onboarding Clients and setting them up for durable relationships with Deel to enable long-term success. You will serve as our client’s trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance during the onboarding phase on operational and product-related issues. Simultaneously, you will be an internal advocate for clients with Deel by championing new products and capabilities to facilitate the expansion of each client’s business with Deel. You will facilitate on-time onboarding through project management of all stakeholders involved.

Duties
HCM Data Migration: Lead and execute data conversion processes, including the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of HCM data, such as employee records, payroll, benefits, performance management, and compensation, from legacy systems into Deel Platforms
Data Mapping and Transformation: Collaborate with Onboarding and Implementation team teams to define data mapping and transformation rules. Ensure accurate alignment between legacy and target system data structures.
Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data validation checks and reconciliations to ensure that converted data is accurate, complete, and adheres business rules and compliance requirements.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion processes, including mapping specifications, data transformation rules, and any custom configurations.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project management teams to understand business requirements, data specifications, and project timelines. Ensure data migration aligns with overall project goals.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Coordinate testing efforts to validate the accuracy of converted data in the new system. Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or conversion issues, working with technical teams to resolve them quickly.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to the data conversion process, focusing on enhancing data accuracy, conversion efficiency, and reducing the potential for errors.
What You Will Need
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HCM data migration, data conversion, or related roles. Experience working with HCM platforms
Technical Skills:
Proficient in data mapping, ETL processes, and data transformation.
Expertise in leveraging Javascript/Python to manipulate and transform data
Strong understanding of HCM data models and HR business processes, including employee records, payroll, benefits, performance management, and compensation.
Experience with SQL and other query languages to extract and manipulate data.
Familiarity with cloud-based HCM platforms and tools.
Data Quality: Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data integrity throughout the conversion process.
Analytical & Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve data-related issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create clear documentation and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience managing or supporting complex data conversion projects. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Bonus Points If You
Familiarity with HCM system configuration and implementation.
Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Experience working with Agile project management methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in Excel or data manipulation tools.
Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
